Our Beginning.

Gold Creek Contracting was built from the ground up — literally. What started as two cousins with a

shared dream and a passion for the trade has grown into a company that’s redefining what quality

workmanship and customer service look like in the landscaping and contracting world.

It all began when Quinn started working at a local landscape supply yard in Maple Ridge. What began

as just a job quickly turned into something more. Over the course of four and a half years, Quinn

developed a deep understanding of materials, design, and how different products come together to

create beautiful, functional spaces. He spent every day connecting with local homeowners, builders,

and DIYers — answering questions, offering advice, and helping people bring their outdoor visions to

life. His personable nature and strong community ties became the foundation of what would later shape

Gold Creek Contracting.

After some time, Kade joined Quinn at the supply yard. Younger but incredibly driven, Kade was eager

to learn everything he could about landscaping, hardscaping, and construction. Together, the two

became known around the yard for their energy, reliability, and genuine care for every customer they

helped. It didn’t take long before they realized they wanted to do more than just sell the materials —

they wanted to be the ones building with them.

With that spark, they decided to take the leap. They left their day jobs and started taking on their own

projects. Their first few jobs were small — but for Quinn and Kade, that first small paycheck meant

everything. It represented freedom, pride, and the beginning of something they both believed in. From there, the projects grew in size and complexity. They took on patios, retaining walls, and yard makeovers, learning more with every job and building a name for themselves in the community through honesty, effort, and results. But like any real story, the road wasn’t always easy. When the off-season hit and work slowed down, the two realized they still had more growing to do. At that time, Quinn was only 22 and Kade just 18, both full of drive but still gaining experience. They decided to part ways temporarily — Quinn returned to the supply yard and continued doing property maintenance and small landscape jobs on the side, while Kade moved up to Williams Lake to work for a well-established company and expand his skill set. Life took its turns, as it often does. During that time, Quinn faced some major personal losses that shifted his outlook on what truly matters. It reminded him that family always comes first — and it wasn’t long before he and Kade were talking again about the dream they had shared since the beginning. They both knew that working together, as family, was where they belonged. So, Kade packed up and moved back down, and together they decided to give it one more shot — but this time, all in. That decision marked the start of something special. In early 2025, they hit the ground running — taking on big jobs, small jobs, and everything in between. Their work quickly gained attention for its quality, attention to detail, and personal touch. Customers started leaving glowing reviews and referring their friends, and soon, their small operation was growing faster than either expected. That’s when Gold Creek Contracting was born. From the early days of K&Q; Contracting to the launch of Gold Creek, Quinn and Kade have stayed true to their original values: work hard, treat every customer like family, and never cut corners. With a background in landscaping, hardscaping, snow removal, salting, and all things exterior, they bring experience, pride, and craftsmanship to every project they take on. Today, Gold Creek Contracting is more than just a company — it’s a story of family, perseverance, and

passion. Whether it’s a full property transformation, a retaining wall installation, or a simple backyard upgrade, every job is done with the same dedication and care that started it all. And as they continue to grow, Quinn and Kade are committed to doing more than just building outdoor spaces — they’re building a community. With a new focus on social media and behind-the-scenes transparency, they want people to see what goes into every project and understand the heart behind their work. Because for them, this isn’t just a business. It’s a legacy in the making — one job, one handshake, and one satisfied customer at a time.

We met Gold Creek at the Ridge Meadows Home Show. We told them we were looking to replace our front lawn with artificial grass, needed some of our backyard pavers repaired and cleaned, and had a cracked fascia board on the front of our house that needed to be replaced. They said they could do all of that and provided a great price to complete all the work. We thought we’d have to go to at least 3 different contractors to get all that done. Quinn, Kade and the rest of the crew were very easy to deal with. They listened to what we wanted, had great suggestions and were very professional. The end result was a beautiful front lawn with a river rock stepping stone path, a back patio that looks like the day it was first installed, and a front fascia board replaced and painted. They even painted the other fascia boards so that everything matched. They did a great job and we’re very happy
